Center for Mindful Self-Compassion
The Center for Mindful Self-Compassion is the central hub for all things MSC. You can find here for example information on the various adaptations of the curriculum for youths, healthcare workers and educators.
Rick Hanson
Rick is the creator of the Positive Neuroplasticity Training as well as authors on many books of contemplative practice and harnessing scientific insights for lasting happiness.
Christopher Germer
Chris is a psychotherapist and one of the co-founders of the Mindful Self-Compassion curriculum. He is interested in bringing mindfulness and compassion to therapy and actively explores the role and impact of shame.
Kristin Neff
Kristin is a researcher and the co-founder of Mindful Self-Compassion course. She has created a self-compassion scale and research different qualities of self-compassion includings fierce self-compassion.
Free MSC Practice Groups
Mindful Self-Compassion teachers offer a couple of times a day guided meditations which are free to anyone who signed up. In addition to those daily sessions there are also a weekly LGBTQ+ and a monthly BIPOC affinity practice groups.
